1st F.I.C.C. World Symposium Congress, which will take place in the city of Essen, Germany, on 20 February 2025. Organized by the Fédération Internationale de Camping, Caravanning et Autocaravaning (F.I.C.C.), in collaboration with an international committee, this event will be held at the Essen Fair, near the iconic Gruga Park, providing a welcoming and inspiring setting.
The symposium, centred around the theme "Back to Nature", will serve as a dynamic platform for exchanging ideas and discussing the future of our shared passion. The programme will include engaging presentations, stimulating discussions, and thoughtful reflections on three key topics: -Consumers: Exploring the impact of camping, caravanning and motor caravaning on lifestyle choices and consumer behaviour. -Campsites and the Industry of Camping, Caravanning, and Motor Caravanning: Examining trends, innovations and challenges in this ever-evolving sector. The Impact of Our Leisure Tourism Hobby on Nature: Reflecting on sustainability, environmental impact, and how we can better preserve the natural world.
This symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, enthusiasts, and visionaries from around the globe, fostering collaboration and inspiring a collective commitment to a sustainable future.
This event is open to everyone – F.I.C.C. members and non-members alike – and aims to bring together enthusiasts, professionals and anyone interested in the world of camping, caravanning, and motor caravanning.
Organised for the first time by the Fédération Internationale de Camping, Caravanning et Autocaravaning (F.I.C.C.), together with an organising committee comprising members from all over the world, the 1st edition of the World Symposium will take place at Essen Fair, near Gruga Park, in the beautiful city of Essen- Germany.
The Symposium whose topic will be " Back to Nature”, will include presentations, discussions and reflections on three major topics: Consumers, Campsites and the Industry of Camping, Caravanning and Motor Caravanning and the impact of our leisure tourism hobby in the Nature.
Be part of this historic milestone for F.I.C.C., an organization with over 90 years of history, and contribute to shaping the future of camping, caravanning and motor caravaning.
